a WPlus9 and Virginia's View Collaboration

I really wanted to make a card for Dawn's Pure Color challenge
"Text over Shapes" ...
I have very limited inventory of WPlus9 sets and I REALLY have to remedy that in the very near future!  So, with my New Year's set of "Twenty Fifteen" Triangles, I set off on a stamping experiment.  My first and second attempts were, sadly, trashed.  The grid triangles were just too busy for a background with text over, so finally, these solid images in the set were my choice.  I stamped in colours that I had on hand in my stash, closest to what I could tell from my monitor, and was happy with the triangle stamping.  The next step proved even harder, as I did not have any images to create what I had in my head.  I had to use a Paper Smooches dandelion fluff and added some white gel dots to the fluffs parts.  The large sentiment from SSS was heat embossed with Ranger Platinum.
As this is a geometric background, I will be adding to Virginia's View challenge of Geometric Patterns...
Thanks for peeking in!

  1. Good morning, Chriss! You had much better luck with colors than I... when we chatted about this challenge, did you know [as I clearly didn't] that there were specific colors?! =] =] =] I'll be waiting for those fluff-y hugs to arrive!
