Feelin Better-2 challenges

Recognize those blooms?  I have been having a lot of fun creating with these Papertrey Blooms II.  I have had them since first released, but never got to really play with them, so forgive the double post today of the same blooms.  I am using black and Hawaiian Shores for the colour theme in this Get Well card, the current challenge, #19, over at CAS on Sunday.

I am also offering it up over at The Moxie Fab World Week of Handmade Cards for the Ready-Made Embellishments challenge.  The floral center embellishments have 3 different textures-sparkly, corduroy and glass dewdrops.
I added the marbled orange dewdrops...remember those...  I have a little stash and am happy to be using some :)
As always, I appreciate your visits!

Tissue Box Hen

The Moxie Fab World blog has a tissue contest going on...Here is a card that I made for the challenge.  This is my Moxie Fab hen tissue box get well card :)
I started by stamping these darling Lockhart images and coloured with Copic markers.  I placed a slit on the hen's back and crumpled a little triangle of kraft coloured tissue...voila~ a tissue box with a little greeting that I made on the computer.  The paper is K and Co. and I used some vanilla seam binding to make a simple knot in for the top of the card.  I hope to make another card for this challenge as I think tissue is such a great element to work with.
Thanks for taking a peek...have you made a card for this challenge yet?

Chicken Soup to feel better

Hi there,
Is everyone having a good start to the week so far? The weather here will be warmer for the week, and that is a very good thing according to me ;)

I made this card for a friend's husband. He had a major operation and will be recovering on a liquid diet for the next few weeks, so I thought these images were just the right thing. I stamped these cute Lockhart images in Momento Tux. black on ivory card stock and coloured with my Copic markers, cut out and popped up on dimensional foam. I am using sketch challenge #47 from Card Patterns. The front of the card and the green gingham are Farmer's Market Berry Street from DCWV again. I love the texture on these sheets. The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms Mona Lisa Moments "Get Well Centers" and I think the sentiments in this set are perfect for these Lockhart stamps! The green

Thanks for taking a peek today, have a good one!
