Another couple of Foxes

Good Morning!  Hope your week-end was grand and you had time to relax and create!
I have been having a lot of fun with this little fox from Hero Arts.  I made a couple of cards for a challenge that a few friends of mine issued.  I was to use blues, a colour that I rarely use and NOT use florals.  This is what I came up with and I really think that this little creature is adorable!  I paper pieced parts of this cute creature, gave him sparkly whiskers and coloured some white Maya Road heart stick pins with my Copic markers.  I made the sentiment on the computer.
Thanks for taking a peek today,
hope you have a great start to your week!
Hugs,
Chriss

APearly anniversary wishes

Second card today, two challenges! Love that.
Combining the SFYTT and the inspiration photo from the City Crafter's challenge blog, I came up with this anniversary card.
I had these gorgeous Heidi Grace papers that I thought fit the inspiration challenge to a "t", pink and purple flowers and pearls. I used the SU birdie punch to create the bird above the pretty Verve sentiment. I had the lace in my stash and added some pearls to the points of this teeny and narrow lace. The purple cone flowers are some that I purchased a while ago from the UK at this shop and the larger pink flower is a Prima that I had and I used my sponge dauber to brush along the edges in SU perfect plum. Another very easy card!
Thanks for visiting!

My PTI colour sketch

Hi there everyone! If you are reading this, thanks for checking back with me! I have a major reorganizing of my crafting space going on and it is taking every ounce of patience to "do it right"! I did however feel that I had earned some play time and I was able to make this card for the sketch "challenge" over at Papertrey Ink. The sketch is to the left here and my card follows. We were to use the colours associated with our online names that Nichole had assigned colours to certain blocks of letters. My colours were Kraft, Ocean Tides, Lemon Tart, Spring Moss and Vintage Cream. I like how it turned out and it didn't take me very long to put it together (maybe because I can see where certain items in my room are now!) and I wanted to keep it pretty simple. Hope you like it!

In a few days I may post some of my very frightful "before" pics of my room. I will have to work up the courage for that one, but with each day that I have been working on the space, I am slowly feeling some hope for a tidy and organized space! All of this has been happening with the inspiration and support from my friend Yvonne and her wonderful, beautiful and super organized crafting room. She will be coming over in a week and a half to help me put the finishing touches on everything. Thanks Yvonne!!!
All paper products, buttons and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink!

Have a great night/day wherever you may be...
cheers!
