Happy Birthday, Friend!
I made this card for a dear, sweet friend's birthday (a late mailing...) and I see that it can qualify for a few challenges! Bonus :)
I was quite anxious to use this new to me stamp from Concord & 9th and I have so many colour combos swirling in my head. I first white heat embossed onto bristol card. The detail on this stamp is amazing and I used a WOW superfine white EP. It worked like a charm!
I used my Zigs to water colour the tiny images. The Happy is a Memory Box die that I cut from the same bristol and again applied the colour with Zigs in a gradient fashion. The birthday is from Winnie & Walter and the Friend is a PTI stamp. The main panel was cut with an Avery Elle Elements die.
Happy to finally send this card out and it is also on it's way over to the following challenges. Oh, Happy 4th of July !

Memory Box classic
Memory Box has issued it's fifth challenge and it's a classic! Black and White!
here is the card that I created using the MB Heart Twig Wreath and
Fall Thank You sentiment. White heat embossing for the wreath, Memento black ink for the image and just the tiniest touches from a few Copic markers. The edges are two narrow strips of vellum from the SU holiday catalogue.
Easy Peasy! I hope to have a second cup with this challenge using only their magnificent dies...
Thanks for peeking in!

Another feathered card
- Hi everyone! Hope your week-end was grand. I spent most of it in the garden and the yards and beds are shaping up pretty good!
- I made another card using some feathers for the Moxie Fab World challenge, this time adding them to a Memory Box sentiment label where a ribbon should be. It's a very subtle use of the feathers, but I think it adds a little something when using this little wooden bird that I pulled off of a little clothes peg that I bought at World Market. The sentiment is from the PaperTrey Ink set Bird Watching. I layered this beautiful Theresa Collins paper onto a wide grosgrain ribbon, a perfect colour match! The little croched flower has a circle of the same paper and a button finishes it off. I love this paper and the colour combo is one of my all-time faves and go-tos. Thanks for taking a peek!

Birthday Celebration
Good Monday morning everyone!
One of my dear friends is celebrating a birthday on Wednesday and I will be taking her to lunch tomorrow after a shopping visit to a yarn shop. We are both knitters and she is a beach lover, so I made this card for her. As inspiration, I used the CR84FN32 colours pic and this is what I came up with.
I started with an aqua card front (Coredinations) and this great colourful letter print paper (October Afternoon). I rounded 2 of the corners and sponged the panel with SU crumbcake ink. I used 2 new circular dies from MemoryBox that I bought from Ellen Hutson and layered together. I then stamped a SU heart that has French printing and a floral image, cur out, sponged and coloured. I have had these great cocktail picks with shells on them that I bought at Anthropologie last Summer and finally using one of them. The Celebrate sentiment is from the SU set Fancy Phrases and I stamped it onto another MemoryBox "pastry labels" die that I also recently acquired from Ellen's store. The little charm is removable for my friend to add to a bracelet or necklace and I tied a SU Pear Pizzazz seam binding length and tied into a simple bow. I hope she will like the card and the yarn and I know we will both enjoy the Margarita that we will have with lunch in celebration of her birthday :)
Thanks for taking a peek,
Cheers ~ Chriss
