Grateful Friendship

I finally made time for the current Time Out challenge!  It's #41.
 'Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile'

Autumn is upon us and although the daytime temps here are still in the nineties, the mornings and evenings are starting to cool down.  It really is a favourite time of the year for me and a season to enjoy the daily blessings and express our true appreciation !
For my card, I used a NBUS PTI die (Enclosed: Sun) that I cut from a linen textured ivory CS.  I sponged on SU inks in 
Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango and PTI Lemon Tart to create an ombre-ish sun representing some Fall colours.  I die cut the shape into my card front and pieced in the sun.  To secure, I made circle rings and adhered to the back of the front panel while attaching/sandwiching the thin "for your Friendship" strip (SU) to the back side as well.  
My little leaves (WPlus9 maple leaf & MS birch leaf) were created with the same ink colours.  The Grateful (SU) is stamped on the inside of the card and can be seen through the circle window.
I chose to use these ink colours to play along with the Colour Q challenge!

Because there is an Ombre-ish feel to my Fall sun, I am also sending over to the SSS Monday challenge "Ombre"

And, one more
The Fusion Challenge for the Falling Leaves bouquet.  I used the sketch, loosely and changed the square opening to a circle.
