Muse Christmas Visions

Welcome to the 107th installment of Muse Christmas Visions, a Christmas card challenge taking place every 2 weeks!

Here is the card I created this time around. Yes, another botanical themed card (:

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks on Arches watercolour card to create several sheets that ended up looking like this.

I then used Flora & Fauna dies to cut out my parts...lots of parts while I was at it because I made half a dozen cards.  here is what a sheet looked like after some of the cutting!  I will probably play again with some different colours.

My sentiment is from this Right at Home set...love, love, love the font!

Are you tempted to make your parts into borders and clusters, like I did?  Or, are you going to try your hand at a wreath!  So may possibilities!  Of course, you may want to stamp your images, too!

Thanks for peeking in and I hope to see you in the MCV gallery !

  1. Love this, Chriss. My first instinct is to create a wreath using a wreath die I haven't used as yet. I may also have to pull out the stamp set you have used. Another (recent) purchase that is waiting patiently to be used. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. You cannot imagine how many times I've tried to put that sentiment set in a cart, only to find it 'out of stock!' - maybe a little Christmas shopping in August is necessary?
A wonderful design, and execution, my friend! LOve the greenery!
