Happy New Year

Happy New Year!
Yes, it has been that long since my last post!
I am getting back into the swing of things and posts will be more frequent.

First of all, welcome to the new Muse: Christmas Visions monthly format!
Now we have time to really focus on the Muse for the month's musings :)

Here is Kimberley's card

Here is where Kimberley's cute card took me...see her mustached Santa...I think he really is stylish and mischievous looking.  I focused on his mustache and have them and a snowflake as elements that Kimberley's card have.  Loved the color combo, too!  I blended distress inks Tumbled Glass and Evergreen Bough together for the background over my masked mustache shapes that I cut from post it pad paper (I stamped again after the color blending and heat embossed with Hero Arts Puffy White) I stamped my snowflakes with Versamark and heat embossed with a glittery EP, but they did NOT look good.  I salvaged by stamping over them with Versamark and using the Puffy white over top.
I really like the inlaid Jolly that I die cut from a scrap of really glittery red card!
I hope you can play along too!
Please refer to the new format info on the MCV #76 posting of January 11th..
See you again next week at the Muse: Christmas Visions card club!
