A Muse card...

Happy Monday!
I am taking a little break from some watercolour homework and trying to catch up on some commenting and card making challenges.  First up, I made a card this morning for the Muse challenge where Michele has given me an ear worm (a very joyous one)and I had to act immediately with all of the joy in my heart.

Here is Michele's joyous beauty!

And here is my card

Can you guess what song title I am trying to convey?

Let me offer this clue.  I saw a great show back in the late 80's?

Still need a clue?  Here is the inside of the card.

My sweet hubby and me HOPE to retire in a few to 5 years and we are investigating some other warm areas...I will be giving this to Neil today, you know, for support and encouragement :))

So, yes, it is John Cougar Mellancamp's "Little Pink Houses"

And, I still have Michele's song playing,
I've got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy down in my heart!

Thanks for peeking in!  Have a great start to your week !

  5. Hello Chriss: I love your row of beautifully water colored houses, this are so adorable.
I would have said "Our house, in the middle of the street" by Madness. This was a very popular song back in the 80s. or somewhere around that. It's really a funny song.
    Thank you for sharing.
This was a fabulous challenge, I hope you go take a peek at my card and try to guess my song.
    Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.
