Pink Joy

Challenge #43
Christmas with the optional twist of "use pink and/or purple"

I finally took some crafting time out to make a mini Christmas chalkboard for the current Time Out challenge.  I made some of these last year for a craft show and l loved the idea of clipping a family photo to this magnetic chalkboard for the refrigerator and the opportunity for a handwritten message.  The "chalkboard" was made from a coaster that I painted with three coats of chalkboard paint. The poinsettia die cuts are Poppystamps and the Joy die (from silver glitter cs) cut is last year's Essentials by Ellen Hutson. I heat embossed the little clothespin with silver ep.  I think it is a fun little gift to give and this one would be great for a family with a little girl :)
I will be making one for a new little someone...a baby boy to be born in the new year.  A grandson for me and Neil, our very first!  I am thinking a polar bear or moose.  We are from Canada ay!
