Bumper Crop Birthday Wishes

I've had this Hero Arts stamp "Stamp your own Salad" set for a few weeks and have been itching to create some cards.  SSS Monday's challenge presented a perfect opportunity to do just this !

Homegrown Summer !

Some masking and colourful inks were my fun tools to play with and I created my own sentiment and printed on vellum.  I also sprayed with workable fixative so that the printing will not smear or rub away.  A little trick that I used to adhere the vellum...i used a thin line of glossy accents on the upper and lower edges of the strip and then die cut these Avery Elle stitched strips to cover up the glue line.  It worked like a charm!
Thanks for peeking in!
