A twinkling Time Out

Happy weekend!

After seeing Sandy Allnock's video for her Starry Night bears card, I could not get over how easy she made it look and watched it a second time...and then a third.  I decided to have a go at it...You see, my friend, Lydia, partnered with Sandy on this Inktense pencils give-away and she has an awesome technique video too.  Lydia introduced me to Inktense pencils last year and I bought some, just 20 of them.
I had recently purchased the darling set More Stories from Avery Elle and I envisioned this cute fox gazing up in wonderment...well, here it is.

I like how it turned out (not even close to Sandy's, but) for a totally non art educated me, I am satisfied and willing to keep practicing!  I also used the moon and tiny star from the More Stories stamp set and I added some WOS for sparkle IRL.

I am still considering what sentiment to use.  I am thinking that the "Amazeballs" from Casual Fridays stamps might be a sweet one...any suggestions?

I am offering this up to

  4. Well done, this looks amazing!! Must have a look at the video and give it a go but I'm not very arty either. I love the little fox and the effect you created with the night sky is really incredible. For someone who isn't 'arty', your work says the opposite! Thank you for joining us at TIME OUT!
