A feminine birthday

Check out these awesome colours!
I was inspired by the new Colour Q challenge going on with these adorable baby socks.  Oh, if I had a grandchild, I would have to be buying them...or knit them!

I was obviously inspired by the colours and stripes!  I used a Stamplorations set called Celebrate Artsy and it has a ton of possibilities for building and playing with your colours!
I didn't have the Strawberry Slush that was suggested in the challenge, so I substituted Royal Rose. (hope that's ok)
As I have played around with stamps and ink again for this card, I am sending it over to Stamplorations too!  The challenge going on is
Stamps and Ink :)))

  1. I love how you combined these colors! Great card and I also love the shaker cards you made the other day.

  2. Oh wow, I just got that stamp set for Christmas and haven't had a chance to ink it up yet! I love the cool look of those sketchy splashes of color! Thanks for playing along with us at colourQ!

  3. I love the simplicity of ur design, fab addition of balloon :)

  4. Sweet birthday the back ground you created, so fun. Thank you so much for playing along with us at ColourQ, hope to see you again next week!

  5. That is just so clever! I'd never have thought of that way of using the colours ... Terrific effect!

  6. So fun, Chriss ... love that floaty balloon and those stripes are fabulous ... I just got this set ... think I may just need to CASE you! Anita :)

  7. What a fun birthday card, Chris, love all the water stamping for the background. Thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit and thanks for playing with us at the colourQ.
