Elegant Birthday-The Card Concept

Wow, does the week-end fly quickly!  I am entering a card for the Card Concept for a monochromatic pink card...and just several hours before the deadline!  I love monochromatic colour cards, but pink, well lets say it's at the other end of my list.
Here is my try with a pink velum PTI border, topped with a teeny tiny scale vintage ric-rac.  this anchors the ferns that I stamped with PTI white snow ink and then heat embossed with white powder.  These were fussy cut.  They are quite old stamps from K and Co. ?  I also die cut some Memory Box tiny tender leaves in the same pink textured card stock and placed them at an angle from the silver flower petal brad that used a pink gem in the center.  The sentiment is PTI and stamped onto a Spellbinders label.  For a little more texture and femininity, I added some white seed beads.    I was going for the elegant concept...Phew...I almost forgot to post this.
Thanks for taking a peek!  Chriss

  1. Wow! So many different elements to this card, it's just beautiful. Those seed beads are just perfect.

  2. So so pretty! I love all of the details you have included. Good luck with the challenge, Cx

  3. This is absolutely nailed the style! That beautiful silver accent bumps it right up to "regal" in my book! The beautiful embossed leaves look so nice tilted at different angles, so realistic! I also really love the teeny tiny seed pearls...this card is one I zoomed in on up close just to catch all the details...well done!

  4. Beautifully done; such a feminine and elegant card. Love all of your delicate leaves and sprigs perfectly placed pearls and that special brad. So glad you could join us this week at The Card Concept!

  5. It's funny how many people aren't fans of pink, yet create the most lovely cards with it! Yours is no exception! I looove the center flower that sparkles! Thanks for joining us this week at The Card Concept :)

  6. This is so beautiful!! I love your embellishments and the scattered pearls ... I hope your husband has warm clothes!!
    have a good day!
