Tweeded Sunflower

The Card Concept Challenge # 2 Texture

Happy Friday!
I am at home today due to some icy roads in Austin today...yes!  Some crafting has taken place.
It's kinda crazy when the temps are 25 F one day and and expected high of 70 tomorrow!  I will take it, no complaints here :))

I created this card for The Card Concept Challenge #2.  We are to create using texture  and as you can clearly see, I was also inspired by the colours in the inspiration photo.  I created the Spellbinder die cut sunflower with some linen textured card stock and I cut one each of the two sizes and layered onto each other.  I used an outdoor fabric swatch to cut out the tweeded center and I also cut out a narrow ring from a woodgrain card stock scrap.  The leaves are also cut with a die (My Favorite Things) out of shimmery green card stock.  Everything was placed on this white woodgrain card stock that I bought at a local paper store.  I am thinking that this card falls into the Clean and Layered category...or maybe the Clean and Simple?

Thanks for taking a peek today...I sure do appreciate you all!
