Dad's pocket rose

Good afternoon all!  Still hot here... a good excuse to stay inside and play with my crafting goodies.  I made a card for Ellen Hutson's "pocket/pochette" challenge using these MemoryBox Brioche papers that I have had for a little while now.  There are some great patterns in this collection and I selected these 3 from the 6 X 6 pad that I think are masculine.  I started off by making the card front with some strips of the paper and then cut out a plaid piece with a Spellbinders label # Eighteen die.  I cut the top off and used the little strip as the fold-over on the front of pockets and went over the edges with a vermillion Copic marker, using the broad end tip.  I then ran some red stitches over it and was more convinced that it looked like a pocket :)  I wanted a little pop of colour and added the resin Prima flower, like a boutonniere, but from the pocket corner.  The sentiment is made with Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alpha stickers, so, so easy!
