Ellen's floral colour inspiration


Happy Saturday to you all!  Is it hot where you are?  It's been 100 here for a few days...
Ellen Hutson has been having some fun challenges over on her blog and I have been able to play!
Here is a card that I based on the colour inspiration...
It's such a pretty photo and here is what I came up with.
Very easy, mostly die cut shapes, some pretty pearls and a gorgeous button that I bought from Ellen's shop and some pretty silk ribbon that I have in my stash.
The paper is a sheet from DCWV matstack Once upon a time...
I thought these colours worked perfectly for the inspiration.

  3. Your colors are sooo pretty, Chriss, and you have worked them beautifully!!! I love the layered flower with the pearls and awesome button and the dp is just perfect!!! I'll have to go check out that challenge!!! Hope you are staying cool...we went to the Salado Art Fair yesterday and nearly boiled to death...yikes!!!!
