Holly Cupcake
Hi everyone! Thanks for peeking in. Today I have my submission for the Card Positioning Systems sketch, #125. It is being sponsored this week by JustRite stamps, so there is a chance for someone to win some of the beautiful new releases from JR. I don't have any, and I love the tiny details they put into the stamps, so I thought that selecting this Lockhart cupcake would be a great substitute. Here goes...I stamped the cupcake in SU basic gray and coloured in with Copic markers. I also outlined the edges of the holly leaves with a green Spica pen that I purchased from Ellen Hutson and went over the berries with a clear sparkly one that was given to me from my friend Yvonne. You can see the detail a little better in the second photo. The card base is a textured beautiful rich berry colour from Bazzil and on that I used some of my Papertrey Ink Vintage Holidays dots paper. It has the same green in it that the Prima sparkly card stock is. This was a little hard to photograph, because of the sparkle factor;) The sentiment is from SU and I used the word window punch and hand cut some of the Bazzil cs to layer it onto. I used my Spellbinder Labels3 die and the petite circle scallop. The 2 red gems are from Michael's and the scalloping under the sentiment is made from an EK border punch. Thanks for taking a look today!
