Ellen's Pin Sights for August

Could there be a more dreamy wedding collage?  I was attracted to the colours, florals and the knotted hair.  Not only did the adorned chairs with the little bouquets of florals remind me of Julie's Mondo Peony set, but the buds in the set reminded me of the hair art and maybe...the bride will have a little floral wreath in her hair for the photos?  That's where I went for this peony wreath card that I made for Ellen's August Pin Sights challenge.

I did a little masking and heat embossing.  My embossing powder is OLD.  It is an old pearl colour and looks just like, well,  a pearl finish.  I have only used it a couple of times over the last 15 years and I am so very happy with this finish.    I used my KGT watercolours for the gorgeous peony images and leaves.  The Joy from Ellen's Essentials was die cut from my W/C card twice and heat embossed with the same EP twice.  Gorgeous in real life...

As the Mondo Peony set is brand new...I am sending the card over to Darnell for her famous NBUS challenge!  It is my second entry...
