Hi there all who have visited and have been unable to leave a comment, I apologize for this frustrating inconvenience! I don't know how to fix this, but I do appreciate all of you that have visited. I can tell from the counter and it looks like there were approx. 100 of you!
Again, I apologize for this and I will try to find out what is preventing comments. They ARE and had been enabled...so I am truly perplexed!
Welcome to the Anni-VERVE-sary Blog Hop! Verve turns three today and we’re celebrating with a hop, hop, hop! If you've already been hopping along, you arrived here from Tanis P's blog "all that rubbish". If not, head on over to Julee's Blog (owner of Verve), for all the info on how to win prizes (after all, what's a party without presents?), and to start hopping from the beginning. If there's a hiccup along the hop, you can always head to the Master Hop List to get the full list of links.
Happy Birthday Verve!!!
So many beautiful stamps to pick from, gorgeous flowers and the most profound and eloquent sentiments!
For today's special occasion, I chose to use this gorgeous Verve sentiment from the One Person set as the focal point. I love Julee's font styles on this, it is so, so elegant. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto PTI vintage cream card stock and sponged around the words with SU River Rock classic ink with a dauber to give it a slightly antiqued look. The frame is from Pink Paislee's Artisan Elements and I sponged this also with SU RR and a bit of Sahara ink. I selected the Queen Bee 6 X 6 paper pad also from Pink Paislee. I created a punched border with a MS punch and a very small scallop punch from EK Success that I layered to the left of the focal sentiment.
Here is a close up of the ivory flower that I made and the "ribbon" that I used is a Japanese one that I purchased at a local knitting store. I sponged the tightly curled center of the flower with SU River Rock ink to tie in with the overall card colour theme.
Thanks for hopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Janelle's Rain Puddles Design blog, for a little more Verve-y goodness.
Thanks so much for stopping by on this special anniversary! Congratulations Julee!!!
