Lola's Bouquet & NBUS!

Time for

AND, because this is a NBUS set, I am sending over to Darnell's famous challenge...the 7th one!

Oh look at the wonderful teeny detailed images in this fabulous set!  I have a very dear friend that gifted this wonderful set to me a few weeks ago!  Michele and I have "old fashioned" chats on the phone every week!
When I saw this month's RERUN challenge at Winnie & Walter, I knew this was my chance to finally play!
I made a mask of my Cutaways Hello and sponged on some Simply Chartreuse ink to create a cloud-like effect.  I then stamped some of these darling tiny images around the letters with the mask in place using just 3 colours of ink.  for the smallest rolled rose image in the set, I flipped the stamp over so that I could ink it up in the same colour and stamped off once on a srcap of paper and then onto my card to fill in the rose images.
I had such a blast creating a card for this challenge and using this new to me set that I had had my eye on.  Thank, Michele for your generosity and all of your chats!
So...I have not even played yet with the larger images in this set and you may see another card before the deadline!
Thanks for peeking in and have a beautiful Sunday!

  1. Really a very charming card, it popped off the page.

  2. You've created such a delightful little flower bed, Chriss ... it's gorgeous behind that delicious, beautifully sponged die cut hello! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)

  3. Very sweet hello card, Chriss! I love the design of those tiny flowers behind the die cut sentiment.

  4. Oh Chriss, you are SO very welcome... I knew this cherished set would be loved! What a wonderful little garden you've 'planted' for that perfect word! I always look forward to the next time I hear it ... xx

  5. What a fresh and beautiful summertime Hello card, Chriss! I have so many hello dies and teeny stamps, so thank you for this marvelous inspiration!! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #7! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell

  6. I had to come and give this some love when I saw it on NBUS #7. I love that it's all focussed on the sentiment, but it's embellished by all these beautiful little stamps. They set it off so perfectly. xx

  7. Your card jumped off the screen when I checked the Re-run post--just love it!

  8. So glad Michele gifted this set to you and then you made such a delightful card with it, Chriss! Thank you so much for joining in on our Rerun Challenge.

Thanks for taking a peek and leaving a comment :)
