My second post for today!
In between Valentine cards, I have been playing around with this new leaf stamp from Stampers Anonymous that I ordered last month from SSS. You know what that means...it's a NBUS item and qualifies for Darnell's current NBUS challenge #3 ! Did you also see that Darnell is the guest host over at CASology this time around and, the cue word is NBUS!
I hurried up to get a card ready to submit for this double whammy! I painted it with some SU re-inkers and one distress ink, the Tim Holtz weathered wood.
The sentiment is an old Stampin' Up and a trusty one :) One layer, CAS, Easy Peasy!
I have a lot of white space on this water colour paper, so it is also headed over to Virginia's View challenge "Clean Slate". I can hardly believe that this is #11 already. It is only my second time to participate. I will have to remedy this in this new year! Beacause this is such a masculine creation, for me, I will also be sending this over to the SSS Wednesday "It's a Guy Thing" challenge.

This is a seriously yummy card for a guy (or a gal, for that matter!), Chriss! I'm mentally thinking of what leaf stamps I have so I can CASE this! I think it's how you did the variegated coloring on the leaves that makes this a truly WOW card!! And I'm intrigued that you "painted" it with your reinkers ... I'll have to look into that. I have all these reinkers, but to be honest, I don't use the colored pads that much. Hmmm .... Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #3 again! I hope you have a great day!! Hugs, Darnell
