Vintage motorcycle for Dad

I know it's still Mother's Day, but Father's Day is next and I have very limited masculine stamps...so I bought this new SU motorcycle stamp and have been playing around with it this afternoon. The Get Sketchy sketch #37 seemed to be calling for this image and the new punched cogs shapes I made with SU silver card stock.
I stamped the image with Memento Tx. black ink onto Papertrey vintage cream card stock and used a warm gray Copic and 2 SU metallic pencils for the maroon colour and the silver. The details on this stamp are nice and I really like the vintage look you can create with different colours used for the bdy. The card front was run through the CB with a herringbone folder and it reminds me of tire tread :) The Dad letters are cut from SU silver card stock using the CB alphabet dies that I just bought on drastic price cut at Michael's.
Hope you have had a great Mother's Day, I know that I enjoyed a beautiful red snapper dinner with fresh veggies that my son and husband made for me. I had some nice white wine with that too! My daughter was working today, but she will be at our home shortly and I am quite anxious to see her!
Thanks for stopping by,
Chriss
