Lilly of the Valley Just Rite birthday card

JustRite has another Friday challenge going on and this is the first time I have been able to participate in one of their challenges. The deadline for this one is at 9:00 am Central Friday February 18th.
I chose to make a birthday card with this pretty coral/pink and sugary patterned paper from My Mind's Eye from the HOME collection that I just purchased at Michael's.
The solid coloured card stock is from Prima, a 12 X 12 pad that I have had for at least a year and use when there is a "different" colour theme that I am creating with. It has a nice texture to it and grounds the sparkly/sugary patterned paper.
I used the SU edger punch again on both sides of the narrow panel that I made and then adhered a strip of the patterned dp. The image from JustRite was stamped in Memento Tux. black and coloured with Copics (pinks and peaches) and greens.
I used my Spellbinder oval dies to cut and emboss and stamped a SU sentiment on the same Prima card stock, but on the back as it has a smooth surface. I added a few tiny pearls above the sentiment and created a flower embellishment to finish it off.
Thanks for peeking in. Chriss
Will you be watching the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics tonight?
