Happy Wednesday!
I am sneaking in at the last hour for the Time Out 1st Anniversary with this card that I made last week. I had all good intentions of making another as when I was adhering the finished card front to the base, I had ink on my work surface and maybe a little on my fingers...I unintentionally smooshed ink onto the card. I tried covering it up with that wood arrow, kinda worked, but then in the center at the bottom, another smudge. Darn!
I used an old Technique Tuesday frames set "Lost in the Louvre" and a couple of old SU frames. Inks used were Marina Mist, Tangerine Tango and Simply Chartreuse.
I am dashing out of the door for an appointment...
Have a great day!
I am always doing this...finding creative ways to cover up mistakes!! I think the wooden arrow looks perfect here and the mix of frames are really are beautiful. Thanks for joining us at Time Out and by the way I don't see another smudge, so you got away with that!!
ReplyDeleteReally cool card! The arrow looks perfect with the awesome frames xxx
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't mentioned it, Chriss, I'd have thought the arrow was part of your original design ... it's perfect pointing towards the sentiment! Fabulous collage stamping of all those wonderful frames! Delighted to have you play along with our birthday celebrations at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYeah that happens to me too! But your card looks wonderful to me ... I think it's a terrific take on the challenge too!
ReplyDeleteChriss I love all of your fabulous frames! I see no smooshes--well done. I inadvertent get ink where is shouldn`t be a lot!
