Happy Sunday all. The weather here in Austin has been mild and mostly sunny, just as I like it!
I have a card today that I made for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #59 and I, like some other entrants have used a feather in my card. I really have taken a shine to die cutting these (I use a My Favorite Things die) from my velum stash and then scoring the edges to give a little more texture and dimension. I also added my favourite Memory box birdie die all gussied up in a petite patterned paper from my stash...old but still lovely. The thank you is a Papertrey Ink die and cut from PTI card white card stock. The background paper is from a local paper store and it too is a velum with a beautifully embossed woodgrain. I find this white woodgrain very fresh and appropriate for the new year and my card base is a kraft from PTI. I tried a white for the card base but the woodgrain did not show as well as against the Kraft.
Thanks for taking a peek and hope that you have a great Sunday!
