Happy Friday everyone! We made it :)
As you can see, I had time to make a card for the Moxie Fab World Ombre Challenge! I had a grand time making this one! The Moxie Fab World Challenges really do give me that extra little nudge...
I bought this Penny Black stamp on sale last week at Hobby Lobby and I can see that I will probably use it for quite a few occasions. I stamped right onto a sheet of patterned paper and coloured with Copic markers and I tried to duplicate the colours in the yarn wrapped panel. Yes, my knitting hobby is coming in handy for papercrafting... The yarn wrapped panel was my first thought at creating something in the Ombre style. I added some felt leaves that I die cut with some Memory Box dies and wool felt. I also created a multi layered flower out of the same leaves that were cut with pink felt, some patterned paper medallion/doily shaped dies and some card stock daisy flowers. I topped it off with a rhinestone studded clear button from Basic Grey and a Maya Arts stick pin. The sentiment is from Verve.
I found this beautiful pic of Spring tulips on the web and thought I would share. Happy Easter week-end!
Thanks for stopping by,
Chriss
