Moxie Notions

This current Moxie Fab "I've a notion" challenge could not have come at a better time for me!  I have been grouping, sorting, stacking and changing the layout in my crafting space, discovering all kinds of beautiful hoarded notions...enough said.  I have some plans to make some more cards with all of the discovered treasures.  I used this sketch that was on the PTI site last week and went with the colour scheme that if reflected in Cath's Moxie photo, only heavier with the coral.  I love coral and gray together.  The little strip of patterned paper is from the Teresa Collins Now and Then collection.  I have quite a long length of vintage tiny white ric-rac that I coloured with one of my gray Copics.  The ribbon roses trim was purchased from Ellen Hutson.  The textured coral card front is SEI and two of the buttons have teeny silk ribbons tied through them, the center button has some twine.  I thought about spongeing the edges with gray, but wanted a cleaner and a little more modern look, so left the card edges naked!  I may make another with sponged edges, just to see the difference.  Hope you are having a great Sunday and thanks for stopping in and taking a peek :)

  7. Really like your take on this Trigger. Obviously the sewing notions are there but it immediately reminded me of a V-neck on a shirt - also fabric and oh-so-perfect for the Trigger. And it's not centered - like that.
