You are the Domestic Goddess...

Hello all, hope you all had a great weekend!

I was playing around this morning and was able to get a card done that qualifies for 2 challenges!  The 2 challenges are TESC120, this sketch and the Play Date Cafe "Provencal" inspiration, challenge #37.  I chose to focus on the warm yellows and blue and I thought that this Graphic 45 "Domestic Goddess" was a good fit, from the Provencal looking tiles on the square panels to the ladies on the tag.  They look European to me circa 1930's.
Following Taylor's sketch, I made the squares and stitched them to the stripes horizontal panel from the same line.  I am starting to enjoy stitching on cards more now...I know it is not a new thing for so many of you, but I am just really getting comfortable with it.  I embellished the DG tag with some stitching, lace and silk ribbon and also used an old pair old decorative scissors to fancy up the edges and sponged on some T!m Holtz tea distress.  I added a partial spray of pearls on the tea pot and added a sentiment from a stamp that I found at HL.  That's it, pretty easy!
Thanks for taking a peek!
