Watercolour with Vanessa
I am using the gorgeous hydrangea image from Addie's Garden. My, this is a pretty set and so very wonderful to work with! It took me right back to my home up north and the late summer when I would hang my hydrangea heads to dry...
I truly messed up with my attempt at water colouring the background for these. I first went very pale grey blue, should have stopped, then added more grey, then black...it was horrid! So, I fussy cut my blooms out and adhered to a pearly cream card stock front, very close to the pearl EP that I used to heat emboss the images, cut more narrow and then layered onto a pale plum card front. i had a couple of watery blue sequins in my stash and also added some of the sequins that arrived with my W&W goodies. The sequins are not showing their true colours in this photo. The Happy die cut is from Technique Tuesday.
Here she is,
Such beautiful flowers, I love how you colored them!
