Stitched Leaves for PTI SAF

I have a card for the PTI SAF going on right now.  There isn't much time left as the challenges close tomorrow morning, but I had hoped to get a few cards in.  Here are my stitched leaves from the Leave It Be set that I am submitting for the Pins & Needles challenge..  I had watercoloured a sheet and then die cut the Japanese Maples.  I thought they would look good with gold stitching and I placed them on a strip of PTI striped vellum.  The Happy Birthday sentiments from Embroidered Elegance were gold embossed, adding to my gold theme :)

I used a card pattern layout, #11 from Nichole
