A Missing You card...

Howdy!  I am back from Montreal after Neil and I visited with his sweet Mom.  I will eventually get around to commenting over the next couple of days.

I had seen Ellen's Pin Sights challenge before I left and had an idea, but ran out of time to complete.  I saw this morning that the challenge closes tomorrow, so away I went to the craft room to try to finish.  Here she is...
I used some direct to watercolour paper inking/dragging with the colours that I had to coming as close as I could to the challenge colours.  I then used a SSS die cut with circles in a straight line to make the circles border on the WC edge and inlaid more circles that had been made with the Picked Raspberry ink on WC scrap paper.  This was greatly inspired by the model's big yellow pearls necklace.  I was intrigued with the gals veiled hat, so I applied some Picked Raspberry distress ink to some tuille  and secured to white paper, then die cut the Wild Garden's largest bloom.  I then applied glossy accents to the cut petals, over the tuille and inlaid when dry.  The little rose die cut from the same Wild Garden set was cut twice, in yellow and pink and combined.  After arranging the florals under the WC panel, I die cut the two leaves from Wild Garden and brushed with my green ink (SU Pistachio Pudding).
That finishes the card and I am so happy to have been able to complete before the challenge was over...
Thanks for stopping by and hope your Monday is going well!
