Monochromatic Thanks

Friday!

I just saw this morning that MFT has been running another Summer School week and, working backwards, here is a card that I made with today's lesson.  I was so inspired with Erin's cute card that I decided to have a go.  (I think I need to purchase that darling flamingo that she used!)   I also used the current MFT sketch.
I used a stencil that I had on my desk and angled it over a white panel and then sponged MFT Blue Raspberry ink, going over some areas a little heavier to "make" a deeper blue.  I took out my MFT Desert Bouquet stamp set and with the same ink, I stamped a few of the images, some twice to further deepen the colour.  I fussy cut these out and arranged over a vellum strip that I heat embossed the MFT sentiment from Thankful Leaves in Ranger platinum.  I love the simplicity of this card and can see myself making multiples in various colours.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you all a great weekend!
Hugs-Chriss
