Time for another Muse: Christmas Visions !
How many cards do you have in your stash? We are on our way, friends!
So, I have a lot going on here this morning with colour and textures and stripes! One of my favourite colour combos for Christmas has been aqua and red. I used a stamp from PTI Ombre builders to make my stripes with SU Real Red, PTI Limeade Ice and Hawaiian Shores inks. I sent the stamped stripes through my Big Shot in an embossing folder for some extra texture and then used a mitten die cut. I think all kinds of shapes would look interesting with stripes (think trees, stars, ornaments...)
With help from the current CAS(E) this sketch from the very talented Leigh Penner, I arranged on a curvy panel that was cut with an Avery Elle line stitched die after stamping/embossing this large size SU (retired) sentiment in Versamark/Ranger Geranium red EP. I added some red and white bakers twine to the top and curvy bottom for another texture element. I made 4 of these cards and I am happy to add them to my stash!
Thanks for peeking in and I hope to see you in the Muse: Christmas Visions gallery! You have a whole week to create!
Oh I do love your card! The colours are just fab, and how cute are mittens!
