Springtime Poppy Silhouette

Happy Thursday!  Lots of blooms in the garden this week, truly a special time of the year.  I don't have poppies blooming, but amaryllis, society garlic and gebera daisies are out there!
I had to "make" my own poppies by spraying a white CS with Mr. Huey shimmer spray in Blizzard and I used my Memory Box poppy die cut to make several of these.  So VERY shimmery in real life, but so hard to capture in a photo.
I decided, after seeing Kristina's card here to make some cards using a Stamplorations brushstroke stamp from the Celebrate Artsy set and various Springtime colours of ink.  The ink colours that I used are PTI Lemon Tart, Limeade Ice & Melon Berry- SU Pistachio, Pool Party & Regal Rose.  This morning's CAS(E) this sketch #119 was a perfect guide for my layout!  Instead of using a bloom and heat embossing, I used the poppy die cut directly onto the card front and removed the rainbow of sorts bloom and replaced with my shimmery poppy. I cut the panel to a more narrow width and popped up on coaster board for a little more dimension.  I will be adding birthday and other sentiments to the cards as needed.  Great to have these in my stash!
I see over at AAA Cards that the current challenge is calling for a Springtime theme, and today's brand new Time Out challenge #29 is looking at Rainbows, so I will be sending over there too.  Thanks for stopping by , hugs-:)
