I'm back with another post for the PTI 8th Anniversary party going on. One of the challenges is to take out the metallics and create a card. I have jumped onto the golds and silvers trend, at first in small doses like adding 3 gold sequins, maybe a heat embossed gold or silver sentiment...but now have worked up to this large amount of foils and, heavens, even mixed gold and silver together on a single card! I was even brave enough to add more gold in the great sentiment and make an extra gold embossed leaf. I don't know what has come over me. It must have something to do with it feeling like Spring is right on the doorstep...
I was inspired to use this new to me Mighty Oak set from PTI because of the friend sentiment, and the PTI challenge. It was hard to get a photo of this as the foil acts like a mirror and keeping my shadows out of the shot, well, I guess sometimes you really do need a set up with a camera tripod! Something to put on the wish list.
I hope that you are having a great day!
Thanks for visiting friends,
Chriss
