Hydrangea Thanks

Hi everyone!  I am still loving this Karen Lockhart stamp, as all of the other Lockharts I have.  They have such great detail for the florals and I so enjoy colouring them in.  This card is another purple card.  I don't really like purple, but some florals in real life are purple, and I do like colouring true to life.  I stamped the image in SU basic gray and coloured in with various Copics.  I then cut with the classic oval Nestability and mounted that onto a scalloped oval.  The dp under this is an old Laura Ashley scrap that I hunted for in my stash and I used a  Nestability Labels die to make a mat for the oval mounted image(like I said, I don't love or have a lot of the purples in anything) I also cut a larger Label shape from a green Prima CS.  I was satisfied with that lokk and number of layers and placed it on the card base that was covered in a polka dot dp (unknown) and a cut paper doily piece.  I have had these square paper doilies from SU for 5+ years!  I have finally figured out a use for them, yay!  The ribbon is from the same length that my friend Yvonne gave to me last month (she's not that crazy fond of purple either;)  Hope she likes how I have been using the goods!  The flowers are primas and the centers are gems from k & Co.

Here's a close-up of the colored image.  I have decided that you REALLY CAN'T go wrong with colours when you are using Copics.
Thanks for taking a peek,
Chriss
