MojoMonday week 72

It's Mojo Monday again and here is what I came up with for this great sketch from Julee over at Mojomonday, the blog that has spun off from her Poetic Artistry blog.  I knew I wanted to use SU Bella bloom set with this Scrapbook Walls Summer Flowers paper. I am trying to use things that I have been hoarding for more than a year!  Love the tiny print and all of the colours.  I started with a tangerine tango base and layered with a Bazzil mustardy colour with a linen texture and then a kiwi kiss panel that I ran through the CB with the exotic flowers folder. The Bella bloom was inked up with tango tangerine and kiwi kiss re-inkers, applied with blender pens. (like the blender pens because of the fine tips)  I also used the floral dp to make a tiny scalloped border frame with my circle Nestabilities for my Wish sentiment.  I used a rectangle Nestabilities die for the image panel also, to keep the scallops proportional as Julee's sketch portrays.  This card came together very easily and I am giving it to my son to give to a friend of his whose 18th birthday is this week. (he doesn't care what the card looks like, but I hear she is a girly girl)

Here is a close up of the little butterfly I made with a Spellbinders die and then I sponged the edges with the Tango Tangerine ink and took the little bella bloom tiny flower and stamped the edges of the wings and added tiny jewels for the butterfly body and the center of the tiny flower on the sentiment.  Have a great Mojo week and thanks for stopping by!
