Another of the challenges for WCMD with Winnie and Walter is a
Gold or Metallics challenge with Lydia Evans. I adore all of her posts and have created a card using 4 different gold elements.
I gold heat embossed my Magenta Poinsettia stamp, water coloured with Gansai Tambi paints, heat embossed my SSS NBUS sentiment in gold, used a strip of gold crackle pattern vellum and a gold strip of metallic foil card stock. The last gold element was to put speckles of gold paint (a first for me) to finish it off!
I admit, I struggled with what challenge to put this up for, as I used Gayatri's sketch and I also created with water colour, Vanessa's challenge. I hope those W&W goodies arrive today! I didn't realize that they were just down the road from me...they are 90 miles away in San Antonio! Where have I been?
I am also adding this SSS WCMD challenge
I love your designs and this is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous combination of all the designer's challenges, Chriss! Gorgeous water-coloring - and you've mastered the splatter with your first go! Sounds like a road trip to me ... doesn't everything? Julie and Shay would love it!
