Good morning everyone! Hope your Easter weekend was filled with family and fun. I had to work a couple of the days, but managed to get in quite a bit of yard work, mostly mulch laying and some trimming...
I wanted to start this week off with Julee's Mojo188 sketch challenge and I love how this card turned out. I used Lilybee Designs Picket Fence papers for this wedding card. The little 6 X 6 pad is a treasure! I made the square version of the sketch and cut the front of the card 3/4" shorter (more narrow) than the back of the card to show off the Memory Box border die that I adhered to the inside of the card, newly acquired from Ellen Hutson's shop. I used the Happily ever After sentiment from the Verve set Love Story. Lots of great sentiments in that set! I layered it onto a polka dotted circle and then onto a white doily-like shape that I made with another new die from Memory Box, nice and crisp looking and I think it adds a nice contemporary look to this card. The leaves are punched in the Lilybee paper with a MS leaf/frond punch and the resin flower is a Prima. Some stitching on the front panel with a perfect match thread that I had.
Thanks for taking a peek today,
hugs

It's a MoxieFab gift card holder for the graduate!
Hi there! Hope that Spring has sprung in your neck of the woods...it already feels like Summer here...not complaining, but it has been a little humid for yard and garden work. I will deal with that anytime over snow...just saying;)
I made this card with gift card holder inside for the MoxieFab challenge going on here. With graduation-moving on season almost here, I know a certain someone that deserves a card and gift.
I have had these patterned papers for several years and I still love the contemporary design and ease of using together, especially for a male. I don't often create masculine cards, so here is something a little out of my comfort zone. I used the card positioning Systems sketch, #214 to combine these two challenges. I did some stitching on the top front of the card, just above this great Hugo quote, a Unity stamp. More stitching on the triangular pices and across the narrow strip.
Here is the inside of the card. The left hand side is finished with the large contemporary polka dot gray and cream paper (rounded the corners) and I made the gift card holder (the GC to be placed vertically) with a PaperTreyInk die for a library card pocket in the complimentary Chevron pattern.
That's it for now...have a wonderful day!

Easter bunny gets the carrot
Good Monday! This clever little guy has his treat and just in time. I have been having fun with some Easter images and my Memory Box wreaths, here's my latest :)
I stamped the wreath and cut with a blossom Spellbinders die, stamped the bunny from Deadbeat designs directly onto polka dotted paper and, cut out and adhered with foam. The little carrot stamp is from Stampendous, stamped and coloured with Copic markers. The card base is PTI Aqua Mist and I used a Sissix EF, then added the pretty Stella Rose Mabel panel and the cotton lace. The resin flower is a Prima. Simple and fun!
Hope you are having a great Monday!

Tub of raspberry flowers
Here's a card that I made for the Impression Obsession Encouragement challenge. I love sending cards to people just to let them know that they are on my mind and that I am thinking of them, whether in good times or in bad.
I made this with the IO Flower Tub C1182 stamp and a PTI sentiment. Simply stamped and coloured with Copic markers, a couple of dies and the resin flower from Prima is a perfect match in colour! I added the MS punched foliage. The patterned paper is Basic Grey Indian Summer....I know it's Fall paper, but couldn't resist using because of the colour match :)
Thanks for taking a peek today,
Have a great week-end!
It's warm here and there's a Margarita calling my name ;)
I will be participating in our community garage sale tomorrow morning...not really a garage sale holder, but I have been busy cleaning and pricing various goods this last week...wish me luck in selling. At least if I have a lot of goods left, the community center will have three charities that will take our "stuff" and distribute/sell for a good cause.

Easter chick wreath
Here's a quick card for this morning,
I embossed the PTI Aqua Mist cs, added a panel of this new Stella Rose "Mabel" paper with a layered cotton lace. I used a Spellbinder blossom die and stamped a MemoryBox wreath in PTI true black. I stamped this cute Lockhart chick and coloured with Copic markers and then used a Spellbinder circle die to cut out. Placed dimensional foam on the back and adhered to the wreath shape, added a resin flower from Prima. EASY!
Thanks for visiting today,
Cheers!
