Good Friday morning everyone! I have been busy making cards, cards and more cards. Here is one that I want to share with you that I made for one of the SCS Hope You Can Cling To month long challenge. The challenge...to make a flower. I made three for my card, simple ones using a PTI flower die on some SU pink cs, another layer in SU Pear Pizazz and I added some PTI pink buttons for the centers that I embellished with embroidery thread and also with seed beads.
The paper is BG Eskimo Kisses and has all of the colours in it for the SC colour challenge CC292 earlier this week, so 2 challenges!
I will be adding this card to my package for the

Witches Night Out!
Hello again! I am back with a couple of Halloween cards that I made today.
I am using the same stamp (Lockhart witches dress) for both of the cards tonight but coloured with a different colour palette.
The first one is a traditional purple and green. I used Copic markers and Spica Atyou sparkly black pen, truly sparkly in real life!
The second card was made for Lydia's challenge over at Splitcoast. They are having challenges all month long and we are sending the cards that we make to UT MD Anderson in Houston for breast cancer patients, hence the pink! Don't you love this witches dress in pink and black? I paired it with the same MS spider web border punch and used Basic Grey's Porcelain line for the patterns. The background is a CB folder called Kassies Brocade that I bought today. I had not noticed this one before, but love the bigger size!
Hope you will be able to make some cards this month for this really wonderful cause!

Doily Swap with CCPB

Hi there everyone! I finished work last night and stopped by the post box on my way home to discover a package from Ros in Liverpool!
Yes, Liverpool!
We are partners in the City Crafter Party Doily and Lace Swap. Have you heard about these swaps? It is my second one and they are so much fun!
Ros really spoiled me...I mean REALLY spoiled me.
The package arrived wrapped in yellow tissue and a yellow rose (for Texas?)
When I opened it I could hardly believe my eyes!
Ros made me this beautiful stitched vintage-ey card with a personal handwritten note inside.
The laces that Ros sent are exquisite! I have never seen such beautiful laces...ever! I have never dreamed of such beautiful laces...
There is a collection of teeny crocheted flowers.
A collection of white and cream paper doilies.
Some sparkly sticky tape too:)
Some beautiful lacey snowflakes and these gorgeous collars/triangular flaps...very romantic elements.
Thank you Ros for your generosity and beautiful package of treasures! My heart is very, very happy and filled with gratitude!
Thanks Kirsty for putting this swap together, you have done a wonderful thing to pair people from all over the world in this swap!
Until the next swap...
Chriss
